A super combination of nickel and chromium in fixed ratio is what leads to formation of the superior grade Inconel alloy widely recognized for its durability and resistant properties making its use viable in high scale industries and domestic appliances. The alloy reacts well to high temperature activities like welding, and blocks all possibilities of forming oxide layer on its surface. Its enhanced resistance to high temperature also prevents any creeping or deforming of its natural form and increases it functional life. The alloy is solution treated which adds to its hardening properties. Different grades of Inconel use different methods of processing shaping the alloy in different forms .
Buttweld fittings forged from Inconel alloy are capable of being used in any piping system or supply structure that supplies solutions or high pressure gases from one end to another. The piping systems are channeled in different ways, making it easy to split them into different directions using buttweld fittings. The Inconel buttweld fittings are capable of being turned at angles and while being capable of sustaining the inner pressure. The use of strong chemicals as supply makes the fittings susceptible to corrosion which is not the case with Inconel fittings due to their increase in resistance against corrosion and abrasion.
