Inconel alloys are work horses of heavy functioning industry, suitable for use in different structures and machine assemblies, protecting them from duly wear and tear which helps in increasing the productivity and functional life of the entire organization. The Inconel alloy is known for increase in its overall structural sturdiness after heat treatment which also forms a chrome oxide layer, on it surface blocking out corrosive and abrasive elements. This alloy is mainly preferred in application where high temperature and pressure is constant, and cannot be sustained by less strong alloys.
The pipes and tubes forged using Inconel alloy is capable of being used in varying areas of domains where high pressure gases or harsh liquids flow through the piping system, and corrode the surface of ordinary ones. The Inconel pipes are heat treated after machining which increase its hardness. The pipes come in welded seamless and threaded types each of which can be welded into place or fastened using the threading. The pipes and tubes do not creep or deform overtime after exposure to high temperature.
