Stainless steel alloy uses steel as its core material along with additive metals that lead to a formation of an austenite grade alloy, capable of being used in several structures and applications due to its durability, sturdiness and resistance with enhanced capability to block off or avoid any potential harmful external factors. Stainless steel can be used in any domains of application that uses harsh chemicals or food grade liquids, without development of any blemishes on its surface. No surface corroding iron oxide can take form on the alloy due to the presence of chromium oxide protective layer.
The pipes and tubes
can be manufactured from stainless steel in welded form, using both Seamless methods which includes use of sheets of varied thickness and dimension which are folded initially in a U press, followed by O shaped press which is then placed inside a die with an electrode at the center which fusion welds both the ends of the sheets to form a circular structure. The pipes take well to welding and can be welded in Socket Weld types where the pipes is inserted inside another pipe, and the outer formed seam is welded.
